French Dips

Ingredients
  • 3 pound beef roast
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 whole peppercorns
  • 8 sub sandwich buns
Instructions
  1. Place the roast in the crock pot
  2. Add all other ingredients on top of and around roast
  3. Cover and cook on medium for 6 hours
  4. Shred the roast
  5. Place roast inside buns
  6. Pour broth into small bowls for dipping
