French Dips

- 3 pound beef roast
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 whole peppercorns
- 8 sub sandwich buns
- Place the roast in the crock pot
- Add all other ingredients on top of and around roast
- Cover and cook on medium for 6 hours
- Shred the roast
- Place roast inside buns
- Pour broth into small bowls for dipping
