Dear God,
I just want to take time to pray for this website. You know the vision I have within me and the dream I have of using my writing skills for Your glory. You also see where this blog is going to go, how difficult it will be to create and what kind of an impact it will have on readers. God, I pray that You will be involved in this in every aspect. I pray that it is not at all about me, but that it is completely for You.
Lord, make the design process and setting up process go smoothly. Help me to understand all the things I don’t get right now. Thank You so much for giving me people in my life who are willing to help me make this dream a reality. I pray that You will be with them as they help me and that You will bless their lives. Please let them know how appreciative I am of their help.
I pray that the website will come together in Your timing and that the launch will be exactly when You have planned. You know that I had no idea it would take this long to get it up and going, but God I know You are in this and are working through each small piece.
I pray that you will constantly be inspiring me. Give me the words to write on this website. I pray that this will help keep me accountable in my walk with You, that I will continually draw closer to You through this project. God, please speak into my heart and move my fingers along the keyboard so that Your words alone are posted onto this blog.
Lord, I pray that you will bring the right readers to this website. Whether the reader just stumbled onto the website or is an avid subscriber, I pray that they will read each post at the right time in their lives — right when they need it. I pray that this site will be a light to them, that even in the darkest of days they will see sunshine because of the words You’ve given me. I pray readers grow closer to You, are reminded of Your love for them, are lifted up and are encouraged.
Please use me as a vessel. Speak through me. Use me God. And let all the glory be Yours.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
