We did it friends! We finally hit 100! Thank you so much to everyone who helped share the page to get us up to 100 Facebook fans. Your support means more than you’ll know. Because of your help, you are now a part of my ministry — Seeing Sunshine.
So what exactly does Seeing Sunshine mean anyway? Let me explain …
Seeing Sunshine has two main meanings. The first is that in our times of darkness — when we’re stuck in a depression or just having a bad day — it’s up to us to see the sunshine of each day. It’s about being positive and focusing on the good parts of each day, no matter how small they are. Sometimes, I think it’s the only way to get through.
Secondly, Seeing Sunshine is about noticing God’s gifts to us. I like to call them love letters, which I got from some book but I don’t remember which one. Anyways, God’s love letters are small, simple things He gives us every day — like love notes from a significant other. These little things can brighten your day, just like sunshine. But it’s up to you to open your eyes and see them.
So in order to have a chance to win the giveaway this week, you need to comment below by sharing one way you’ve seen sunshine recently. What love notes from God have you received in the last couple days? Share below and you will be entered into the giveaway. To get a second entry, share this post on your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or repost it on your own blog. Whenever you share the link, you will automatically receive another entry. That means you have a chance to be entered in the giveaway five times! Just make sure I know you are sharing it in those other mediums — so let me know in your comment and I’ll check it out.
So wanna know what you can win?
This prize is great for all the single ladies. Or it could be a great gift for a single lady you know, maybe a sister or niece or friend or even your girlfriend since she’s technically single and not married yet.
Our prize is a book I read my freshman year in college and am currently rereading. You’ve seen me quote the book in some of my posts — “Lady in Waiting – Becoming God’s Best While Waiting for Mr. Right.” This book is the expanded edition, meaning you have discussion questions, a study guide and 40-day journal all within one book.
It’s great for your personal use as you struggle with singleness and wait for the man God has planned for you. It could also be great for a women’s group, especially with the study guide and discussion questions. I highly recommend this book. If you look at my five-year-old copy, it is full of underlining, highlighting and notes because it is a book full of wisdom and encouragement.
I really wish you all could win this one, but I will be having more giveaways later for those of who you aren’t lucky enough to win this book. But you still have a chance, so enter now!
How have you been seeing sunshine?
Your chance to enter in this giveaway will end Thursday, July 26, at midnight.

Great article, Tiffany! For me it was getting the great dr results I prayed for yesterday and literally “seeing sunshine” in the sunset reflecting off the skyscrapers in Indy last night. Beautiful! 🙂

Sounds like a great book! I’ve been seeing sunshine, but I’d love to share this read with a coworker of mine who isn’t so much seeing the sunshine lately!

I love the way you referenced it as little love notes from God. I recently saw a lot of sunshine when I went to Church camp. I felt like God was talking to me and it was so refreshing. I was definitely finding His little love notes in things people were saying and the simple things I would read. It was awesome!

Recently I had the chance to connect with some friends that I haven’t seen for a long time – that was great! Your post really resonated with me as I’m currently in college now, trying to navigate the pressures to have a relationship and most importantly, growing as a Christian throughout.

This morning on my way to work after studying my Bible, it was so cool to look up and see a rainbow coming out of a sun-lined cloud. It made me think of God’s promises and I felt like He was showing me that He would keep His promises to me. It lifted my spirits.
