More Bridal Shower Ideas

April 23, 2013 by Tiffany

Welcome to Seeing Sunshine! I'm so glad you've stopped by! Make sure you never miss a post by subscribing via email. This post may contain affiliate links, so be sure to view my disclosure policy.

After we looked at the decorations, ate the delicious food and played some really fun games, which you read about in my first post, we did my favorite part of the whole shower.

My hosts had asked each of the guests to bring an item that represented either a memory they had with me or of advice they wanted to give me. I didn’t know anything about the shower before arriving, so I didn’t know they had brought these items. Each woman stood up, displaying her item and telling me about a memory they had with me or a piece of advice they wanted to share. Each of these moments was so special. Some people made me laugh, some made me cry — but no matter which, each of their items and words were so precious to me. It’s something I’ll never want to forget.

(Of course my grandma cried through the whole thing! 🙂 And the last picture are the items from my college roommates)

At the end of my bridal shower, I opened gifts! Travis and I received so many great gifts. We got kitchen towels, canisters for flour and sugar, drinking glasses, place mats, notepads for making lists, lingerie, a board game, an apron, wall art, a blanket, and so much more! We are so blessed, and we’re both so excited to use all of these items in our new home once we’re married.

(I don’t know why I’m making such a crazy face. I guess it’s my excited face, because I love that apron!)

I really want to thank my hosts for making this bridal shower an experience I’ll always remember with a smile. Every detail was perfect. I also want to thank each of my guests who made it such a heart-warming event.

If my bridal shower was this great, I can’t wait to see what my wedding will be like.
