One of the biggest parts of planning a wedding is deciding what everyone will wear. It can be one of the most fun parts of the planning or one of the most stressful. It was fun for me. Especially shopping for my wedding dress! So what did we decide on?
My bridesmaids wore navy blue strapless dresses with bright yellow shoes. We got the dresses and shoes from David’s Bridal. I liked how the dresses pulled to the side because it matched my wedding dress. We all carried yellow tulips. I told them they could do their hair however they liked and wear whatever jewelry they wanted.
The groomsmen wore black tuxes with bright yellow vests and ties. They wore yellow tulip boutonnieres too. (But they didn’t carry bouquets like these two are doing!)
Travis wore his Army dress uniform. What a hottie!
And me? Well, I wore my favorite dress!
Wedding Dress Details
My dress was long with a medium train. It was white, of course. It had buttons down the back … how about I just show you a picture? π
I wore bright yellow shoes that matched half of my bridesmaids. The shoe style they wore alternated, but they all were the same color. I wore a medium-length veil that had small pearls around the edges which matched the beading on the top of my dress. I also had a necklace and earrings that had pearls. My bouquet was wrapped with navy blue ribbon with small pearls to match. My dress, shoes, veil, and jewelry all came from David’s Bridal.
Our ring bearers wore black suits with yellow ties that matched the groomsmen. Our flower girl wore a navy blue dress.
And, of course, our guests looked fantastic! π

Hi Tiffany, first of all congratulations! (Better late than never!) Who came up with the idea of the bright yellow color? It matched up with the black tuxes and blue dresses. I bet you were standing out in the entire event, you look perfect!
Regards,
Kitty

Thanks so much Kitty. I wanted the bright yellow because of the stripe down my husband’s dress uniform. I was very happy with how it all turned out!
