With Valentine’s Day on its way and getting closer and closer, I was really feeling for those out there who just aren’t feeling the love this month. I decided to share my writings from when I was going through my own break up and dealing with my own heart break, as a way to, hopefully, spread some sunshine for those who are hurting. You are not alone. You will get through this.
This is the third installment of A Glimpse into my Heart Break.
I think music speaks straight to our hearts a lot of the time. So when your heart needs healing or uplifting or maybe it needs the freedom to grieve, to finally let it out — listen to this playlist. It has songs that make me cry and help me release what I’ve held in all day. It has songs for those days when I am so tired of the tears, and I just want to feel strong for three minutes. It has songs that set aside the sorrow and let me tap my feet to the rhythm.
I suggest listening to the playlist in the order I listed. I started with the songs that will help you grieve and release your emotions; then I moved to the songs that would help calm you down. Next are encouraging songs that will uplift you and finally a couple songs that should bring you a little joy.
No matter where you are at in the healing process — from the most painful part to the acceptance to the finding joy again — I hope this playlist helps you move forward in whatever way you need to.

Even in the heartbreak, remember God is still in control and He loves you. And because of that, you have a reason to keep singing.
(Disclaimer: Travis and I eventually got back together, and now we are happily married. That might not be the exact ending to your story, but I can guarantee that God does have a plan for your life and He will bring you out of this darkness if you let Him.)
Be sure to read the other installments in my series A Glimpse into my Heart Break including Waiting for Morning and Ways to Mend a Broken Heart.
If you have other songs that you think would be a great fit for this healing playlist, please share them in the comments.
