Welcome to Seeing Sunshine! I'm so glad you've stopped by! Make sure you never miss a post by subscribing via email. This post may contain affiliate links, so be sure to view my disclosure policy.

It’s time for my Currently series, where I share with you what I’m currently up to. This post is linked up to A Mama Collective where everyone is sharing what they are up to too!

Here’s what I’ve been up to currently …

Thinking about: How happy I am my husband is home and how I never want to spend a month apart from him ever again!

Reading: I just finished the book “The Scarlet Thread” by Francine Rivers. Since I’ve read all of Karen Kingsbury’s novels, I decided it’s time to read all of Francine Rivers’ novels.

Watching: So You Think You Can Dance. I’ve watched many seasons of this show and it always makes me wish I had taken dance lessons as a kid and become a contemporary dancer. Some of those dances are just incredible. I wish I could be up on that stage! This season, I’m having a hard time choosing a favorite dancer. I think it might be Jessica, but I wouldn’t be upset if Ricky or Valerie won either. Oh, and can I just say Travis Wall is the best choreographer ever.

Listening to: I very seldom buy songs on iTunes, but last week I was really feeling the itch to easily listen to some of my favorite country songs right now. I’m loving “Later On” by the Swon Brothers. Anybody remember them from The Voice? I’m so glad they have a single out now because I really liked them on The Voice.

Wearing: My swimsuit! So many people are talking about fall already, and I noticed the Halloween candy and decor are already out in stores. But here, it still very much feels like summer. I’m not going to take this sunshine for granted. I hit the pool or beach whenever I can!

Eating: Chicken Pot Pie Casserole. It was one of the things I made when Travis came home, and it’s probably one of my favorite meals. Definitely a comfort food!

Praying for: Provision. Understanding. For God to make His way known. For help in making decisions. Comfort for my heart if the choice that needs to be made isn’t the one I want.

Working on: Something awesome that I’m going to do with my readers (that’s you!) in just a couple weeks. I really hope I can get all the details worked out in time!

I am reading The Scarlet Thread too! The only other Francine Rivers novel I have read is Redeeming Love, and I read it several times. I love it so much! That chicken pot pie casserole looks delicious!

Mmmm. I want to make that recipe. Sounds DELICIOUS!!!!

I hate when my husband is out of town too. Last winter was terrible, he was gone constantly. We have been blessed to have him home almost all summer.

Stopping by from the link up. ~Becky with Choose Happy

Thanks for stopping by Becky! I’m so glad to hear your husband has been able to be home this summer. I hope it’s the same for fall! 🙂
