It’s time for my Currently series, where I share with you what I’m currently up to. This post is linked up to A Mama Collective where everyone is sharing what they are up to too!
Here’s what I’ve been up to currently …
Thinking about: How blessed Travis and I are to be able to travel so often. We were able to head home last weekend to Indiana for a wedding. It was perfect timing because Travis hasn’t seen his family since Christmas. He was able to visit them for a couple days. My cousin’s wedding was beautiful, and it was great getting to spend time with Travis’ family. We also finally got to eat the top of our wedding cake. It was a few months past our one year anniversary, and I can’t say the cake was too delicious. Who came up with that tradition anyway?
Reading: I had read all my books, so I bought a couple magazines to read while we were traveling to Indiana last weekend. I had no idea how much I would enjoy Good Housekeeping. I might have to get a subscription to that magazine at some point!
Watching: The new season of 19 Kids and Counting! I just love the Duggar family and can’t wait to see the episodes with Jill’s wedding and Jessa’s proposal.
Listening to: Last weekend at my cousin’s wedding, they had a friend perform a song at the reception. Shane played the guitar and sang the song “Mean to Me” by Brett Eldredge. I have to admit our family friend Shane sounded even better than the famous Brett. But ever since hearing it, I have fallen in love with that song. Travis and I had never heard of it until Shane sang it at the wedding, but the very next day we heard it on the radio. Ever since, the two of us have been singing it. I wish this song had existed when Travis and I got married. It is so sweet and romantic.
Eating: Have you guys ever had Popcorn, Indiana’s Aged White Cheddar Kettlecorn? Oh my goodness, this stuff is addictive!
Praying for: Travis and I are asking God for his guidance as we make a big decision about our future. We’ve been asking for guidance from our families, doing research, and praying a lot. I just wish God would audibly shout to us what is best. I need a big blinking neon light that says either “YES” or “NO.” Will you join me in praying for us to make the right choice? Once the decision is made, I plan to share with ya’ll what we’ve been deciding.
Working on: Next week, I’m announcing something new and fun that I’ll be doing on this blog of mine. And I think you guys are going to like it! At least I hope so, because, dang, there is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into it!
Feel free to share in the comments what you have been up to, and be sure to check out the link up to see others’ posts.
