Travis and I recently spent a day at an amusement park called E-World in Daegu. It was such a neat experience and we got so many fun photos that I wanted to share it with ya’ll. This is a great activity for anyone stationed at Camp Walker, Camp Henry, or Camp Carroll.
E-World is an amusement park that seemed to have a love theme. There were lots of heart decorations and signs that read, “Love Park,” “Love Path”, and “Romance.” We went during their spring season so they had flowers everywhere! So many tulips! It was beautiful!
The park has lots of rides and things to do — roller coasters and smaller rides. Travis went on one roller coaster that went upside down three times! We both rode a couple other rides too.
We went on one ride that was more like a workout. You pedaled around a track!
Our favorite part of E-World was trying all the food! We tried lots of new food — some good, some bad.
The things we tried that we didn’t like included: Butter Roasted Squid and Addiction Grilled Corn.
The things we did like that we tried included: Potato Twist, Waffle, and Ice Cream Stick. The ice cream stick was the weirdest! It was sort of like an ice cream cone shaped like a tube and there was ice cream inside!
We found one stand that said “Western Snack” so we figured we’d see some things we might have in America … the first thing we saw was roasted squid! HA!
E-World also has a small zoo with animals such as rabbits, hedgehogs, prairie dogs, raccoon, snakes, iguanas, alligators, birds, monkeys, and fish. It was neat seeing all the animals — some of which we’d never seen before. I had never seen a hedgehog or a chameleon before! People were allowed to feed the bunnies carrots, and it was so fun to watch them all — the people and the rabbits!
After we had explored the park, we took a cable car up to the 83 Tower, which stands at 312 meters tall. I’ll be posting about our time in the tower soon!
Check out my other posts on our time in South Korea.
