Last month I started the Guy Behind the Blog series, where you get to know my husband a little bit better. I really enjoyed reading Travis’ answers to the questions last time, so I knew I wanted to keep this series up. I’m linking up with Heavens to Betsy and According to Laura Jean.
Here are this month’s questions in bold, with Travis’ answers.
1. What’s the best vacation you’ve ever been on?
This is a tough question! My family has gone on vacation every year since I can remember. It’s so hard to just pick one vacation! But I’d probably have to say Panama City Beach, Florida four years ago. That was the last vacation that all of my sisters and myself were able to go together. I had some great fishing trips, I beat Tiffany in drag racing, won a ton of tickets at an arcade, played games out on the beach and in the pool, and really enjoyed spending quality time with my family.
Side Note from Tiffany: He did not beat me. I won.
2. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?
I have always wanted to go to Japan. I love sushi and Japanese food, and I’ve always wanted to experience Tokyo! And it just so happens I am flying to Tokyo this weekend for a four day vacation in Japan!
3. Are there any summer traditions that you have or would like to start? (think things like big picnics, summer activities, bonfires, or day trips!)
The fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday. I always loved going to my aunt’s where we would have a cookout, swim, and play games. Then we’d all go watch the county fireworks together and go back and light off our own fireworks! That’s something I am also looking forward to doing with my family someday!
4. The 4th of July is coming up … what’s a must-have picnic or BBQ food for you?
This is probably the hardest question I’ve ever answered in my life! I love anything cooked on the grill! Chicken wings, hamburgers, brats, even vegetables!
5. Think about your ideal vacation … are you in a cozy cabin, camping in a tent, or hanging in hotel?
I think a perfect vacation would be in a cabin out in the middle of nowhere right on a big lake with a boat, inner tube, and some fishing poles.
I hope you enjoyed getting to know Travis more! Next month, we’ve got a whole lot of questions about food — mmmm.
