Guy Behind the Blog: Episode 5

November 30, 2015 by Tiffany

Welcome to Seeing Sunshine! I'm so glad you've stopped by! Make sure you never miss a post by subscribing via email. This post may contain affiliate links, so be sure to view my disclosure policy.

It’s time for our Guy Behind the Blog series, where you learn more about my husband Travis. He’ll answer the five questions below, and you can click this link to meet other guy behind other blogs.

The Guy Behind the Blog

1. What sports did you participate in as a child? What sports did you watch growing up?

I participated in baseball, basketball, tennis, and wrestling. My favorite sport to watch growing up was college basketball, and it still is.

2. If you could line up your ideal Super Bowl, who would be facing off, where would they play and who would you pick to win?

The idea Super Bowl would be, even though it’s not possible, the Colts versus the Patriots. They would play in Indianapolis, and the Colts would win 27-0. Tom Brady would cry after the game.

3. Do you prefer the summer or winter Olympics? If you could participate in one Olympic sport, what would it be?

I prefer the summer Olympics, because most of the sports in the summer Olympics I have played myself or I know people who have played them. I’ve never really done any winter sports. I don’t like the snow or ice skating. If I were in the Olympics, I would probably choose to participate in diving because I think it would be awesome to stand 30 feet above water and do flips and black flips into the water. Plus, after every dive you get to sit in a hot tub!

4. What is your favorite food to eat at a sports party (ex: World Series, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, etc.)?

Chips and chili con queso! If you don’t know what that is, it’s God’s gift to Earth — chili mixed with queso.

5. Who is your all time favorite athlete and why?

Peyton Manning. Not only is he the best quarterback of all time and has a laser rocket arm, but he also seems like a down-to-earth good guy. He has given so much back to the communities he has played in. Even after he left Indianapolis, he still contributed to the children’s hospital there.

I love Travis’ answers for numbers 2 and 5! Go Colts!
