Christmas Decorations 2015

December 23, 2015 by Tiffany

Welcome to Seeing Sunshine! I'm so glad you've stopped by! Make sure you never miss a post by subscribing via email. This post may contain affiliate links, so be sure to view my disclosure policy.

This year I considered not even putting up our Christmas tree. At the time I didn’t think Travis was going to be able to come home for Christmas. I asked ya’ll on Instagram and Facebook, and everyone said to put it up! Then I found out my husband was going to get to come home, and suddenly I wanted all the Christmas decorations I could get my hands on. I wanted the house to be very welcoming and cheery and warm for his arrival.

I got the Christmas tree up and decorated with the help of my mama and soon-to-be sister-in-law. Thanks so much for your help! I loved putting together the rest of my decorations too. Check out the finished product!

2015 Christmas Decor

I have a cute sign on my side door, and a real wreath on my front door. I’ve never had a wreath before!

Here’s our Christmas tree this year and our bay window across from the tree.

Here’s our stockings! Travis’ is already full!

I really love my table decor this year. I got this new table runner from Hobby Lobby, added peppermint candies to my hurricane vase, and got some pine cones and pine needles from a neighbor’s yard. Then, I took a couple small pumpkins that we got at a Pumpkin Patch for Halloween and painted them white. I used a silver marker to draw little snowflakes on each. They turned out really cute.

And lastly, here is my wrapping paper that I used this year. I LOVE it! It’s exactly what I wanted. I love all the ribbon!

What I would really love to add to my Christmas decor is a nativity scene. I looked this year for one to purchase, but I’m very picky and nothing suited what I wanted. Hopefully next year I can add a beautiful nativity scene to my decorations.

How did you decorate for Christmas? Do you have a nativity scene?
