It’s time for the December Guy Behind the Blog! See what Travis, my husband, had to say about Christmas.
Here are this month’s questions!
1. What’s on your Christmas list this year?
My number one wish has already been granted … spend Christmas with my beautiful wife! Since I’m living in Korea, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get home for Christmas or not, but my leave was signed, my plane tickets were bought, and I made it home!
2. Did you believe in Santa as a child? Do you have any funny Santa stories?
I have never believed in Santa Claus. My parents never really pushed Santa Claus, and besides I was way too smart to think that one man delivered Christmas presents to every child on earth in one night! 🙂
3. What is a Christmas tradition you hope to pass on someday?
I always loved sitting around the living room floor on Christmas morning as my dad read the Christmas story from the Bible. I would love to do that someday with our children, so they realize the true meaning of Christmas.
4. Do you open presents on Christmas morning or a different time?
Growing up, my family always did it on Christmas morning. But as us children have gotten older, we do it whenever we can find time! I think Tiffany and I are going to try to start opening our presents to each other on Christmas morning.
5. What is your favorite Christmas song? Movie?
I think my favorite Christmas song is “Silent Night.” However, “Mary Did You Know?” is starting to come to the top! My favorite Christmas movie is “Elf.” I love how funny Will Ferrell is!

I enjoyed reading this blog – and have liked all the other “the guy behind the blog” articles. I have learned a lot about your husband. I think reading the Bible to your kids will be a great tradition. My Dad also read the story every Christmas Eve when we were kids and we had a birthday party for Jesus that evening. I love the tradition!
I also love the song, “Mary Did You Know.” It’s such a great song, especially if you really listen to the words.
Merry Christmas to you both!
