Guy Behind the Blog Episode 7

February 29, 2016 by Tiffany

Welcome to Seeing Sunshine! I'm so glad you've stopped by! Make sure you never miss a post by subscribing via email. This post may contain affiliate links, so be sure to view my disclosure policy.

It’s time for this month’s Guy Behind the Blog series. I’m always curious what my husband is going to have to say each month, how about you?

The Guy Behind the Blog

Yep, that cute dude above is my husband! Here’s the month’s questions and his answers!

1. This year is Leap Year — what are you going to do to celebrate?

Unfortunately, I am currently in a school for the Army, and on the 29th, I will be waking up early for PT and then I’ll be in class all day long.

2. If you could create an obscure holiday, what would it be and why?

It would be called Travis’ Day. It would be on March 7th (my birthday) and everybody would celebrate with eating donuts for breakfast, mexican food for lunch, and meat and potatoes for dinner. And then for dessert, you would have to eat some sort of ice cream.

3. Have you seen the movie Leap Year? If not, tell us about another romantic comedy you have seen.

I have never seen the movie Leap Year. I remember watching the movie Serendipity with my beautiful wife when we first started dating. I honestly don’t remember anything about the movie, I just remember being so happy sitting on the couch holding her hand and watching her try not to cry in front of me! Haha!

4. Tradition has it that women are supposed to propose to their men on leap day. Would you (or did you) say yes if your girl popped the question?

If Tiffany would have got down on one knee and I thought she was going to propose, I would immediately tell her to stand up and wouldn’t let her ask me! Of course, I wouldn’t have been able to tell her no, but I definitely wanted to be the one who popped the question.

5. If you had to have a special event take place on leap day, what would it be (ex: wedding, birthday, birth of your child, etc)?

I would probably say the birth of my child. That way I wouldn’t have to buy birthday presents every year for them, just once every four years! 😛

Have you ever thought about any of these questions? What would your answers be?
