I recently got home from a trip to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas. We had a great time, and one of my favorite parts of visiting a new area is trying new restaurants and great food. Are you visiting the Dallas Fort Worth area? Or perhaps you live there? Check out this list of great food in the Lone Star state.
Here are my favorite restaurants from the Dallas Fort Worth area:
Katy Trail Icehouse — the food was amazing and the atmosphere was so enchanting. This restaurants is outside with picnic tables and lights strung through the trees. It’s right next to a running trail. Dogs are welcome. It’s incredibly popular, and I can understand why.
Bahama Bucks — Snow Cone Central! This place has tons of flavors for snow cones, and they are so good — especially in the midst of that Texas heat.
Whataburger — If you haven’t tried this fast food restaurant, here’s your chance. From 11 p.m.-11 a.m., they serve a honey butter chicken biscuit, which may be what they are most famous for. Try to go in the morning so you can try it.
Sprinkles Cupcakes — The best cupcake I’ve ever had. This is one of the most famous cupcakes bakeries in the U.S. You have to try out the Cupcake ATM — such a neat experience!
Baker’s Ribs — Try the chicken! But more importantly, try the fried pies! They are so good! I got the chocolate creme fried pie, and I fell in love.
Rockfish Seafood Grill — Delicious seafood and drink specials while sitting outside with live music? Yes please.
