The end of a month means my hubby gets to hop over to the blog and answer some questions! I love reading his responses, how about you guys? It's time to learn more about the guy behind this blog -- Travis. Here are this month's questions and answers: 1. In what ways are you the same as your childhood self? Well, one of the ways I am the same as my childhood self, is that I HATE to make my bed and clean my bedroom. Haha! Whenever Tiffany asks me to make my bed I always do it, but that doesn't mean I like to! Also, at any time if you walk into our bedroom the chances are that you Continue Reading

It's time for a currently post where I catch you up on what I'm up to currently. Pretty self-explanatory! Thinking about: How happy I am that we live close enough for family to visit. I am so very close to my family, and I love that we are only around 5-6 hours away from them. That means we can go visit on weekends if we want, and others can come see us. I love showing my relatives where we live. My parents have visited, my aunt and uncle visited, and just this past weekend my brother and his fiancé came to see us. It's been great! I'm also thinking about how great my husband is Continue Reading

It's time for this month's Guy Behind the Blog series. I'm always curious what my husband is going to have to say each month, how about you? Yep, that cute dude above is my husband! Here's the month's questions and his answers! 1. This year is Leap Year — what are you going to do to celebrate? Unfortunately, I am currently in a school for the Army, and on the 29th, I will be waking up early for PT and then I'll be in class all day long. 2. If you could create an obscure holiday, what would it be and why? It would be called Travis' Day. It would be on March 7th (my Continue Reading
Thankful Thursday 01.21.16
It's been quite some time since I've wrote a Thankful Thursday post. We are right in the midst of our PCS to Missouri -- loading trucks and packing our car, saying goodbyes -- it's been stressful and tough and crazy at times. Because of that, I decided it would be good to write a post about what I'm thankful for. You know, put things in perspective. Here are five things I'm thankful for this week. 1. For the benefits of the military. Sometimes (a lot of the time) I despise the military and how much control it has on my life, but other times I'm very thankful for the benefits we receive. One Continue Reading

I haven't wrote a Currently post since October! There is so much to catch you all up on! Here's what's going on currently ... Thinking about: Everything that needs to get done. Travis is moving back to America (FINALLY!) in about one week, and then we only have a couple days before we move to Missouri. That means there is a ton of stuff to get done! We are hoping to rent out the home we bought this year, so I've been meeting potential renters, cleaning the house, and preparing to pack. My whole mind consists of several to-do lists! Reading: Travis and I recently finished The Continue Reading
Guy Behind the Blog Episode 6
It's time for the December Guy Behind the Blog! See what Travis, my husband, had to say about Christmas. Here are this month's questions! 1. What's on your Christmas list this year? My number one wish has already been granted ... spend Christmas with my beautiful wife! Since I'm living in Korea, I wasn't sure if I would be able to get home for Christmas or not, but my leave was signed, my plane tickets were bought, and I made it home! 2. Did you believe in Santa as a child? Do you have any funny Santa stories? I have never believed in Santa Claus. My parents never really pushed Santa Continue Reading

Guy Behind the Blog: Episode 4
Well we missed a few months on this series, but that happens. Don't worry, though, he's back! In case you've forgotten, the Guy Behind the Blog series is where my husband, Travis, takes over and answers some questions so we can get to know him more. Here are this month's questions and Travis' answers. 1. We’re headed into fall, which means cooler temps for most of us … are you a warm weather or cold weather kind of guy? I am definitely a warm weather guy. I really don't like the cold at all; however, fall is my favorite season. I love to see leaves changing colors, going to bonfires, Continue Reading

As you may have read last month, I needed to take a break from blogging. I only posted one blog from myself in September, and a few posts from guest bloggers. That month was hard, and my blogging break was definitely needed. I was able to put my full focus on God, lean in to Him and let Him show me the sunshine again. God was faithful, as always. I decided I'm ready now (hopefully) to get back to blogging. Hello October! I'm back. Today, I decided to start off with a Currently post since I haven't wrote in so long. Here's what I'm up to currently... Thinking about: How God is faithful. How Continue Reading
Guy Behind the Blog: Episode 3
The guy behind the blog series features my better half and best friend -- it's all about introducing you to the man I love. Travis, my husband, answers five questions for us so we can get to know him better. This post is linked up with other bloggers who are introducing their guys behind the blog. Unfortunately, this month Travis is an area with limited communication and was unable to send me his answers in time. So instead, I'm going to answer these questions based on what I think Travis would have said. Then, we'll see if my answers were correct when he does have a chance to answer Continue Reading
Thankful Thursday 07.09.15
Here are five things I'm thankful for this week: 1. Baby laughs. I've spent this week with my nieces and nephews, and I have so enjoyed their littleness. One of my favorite moments was playing with my littlest niece who turns 1 next month in the pool. I loved making her laugh and smile. 2. For girl time. I love getting to spend time with any and all of my sisters-in-law. This week I was able to hang out with two of them, and it was so nice. I especially liked long talks with Casey in the car or when we all tried to get a selfie at the fountain and it took us about 10 minutes. 3. Really good Continue Reading
Guy Behind the Blog: Episode 2
Last month I started the Guy Behind the Blog series, where you get to know my husband a little bit better. I really enjoyed reading Travis' answers to the questions last time, so I knew I wanted to keep this series up. I'm linking up with Heavens to Betsy and According to Laura Jean. Here are this month's questions in bold, with Travis' answers. 1. What's the best vacation you've ever been on? This is a tough question! My family has gone on vacation every year since I can remember. It's so hard to just pick one vacation! But I'd probably have to say Panama City Beach, Florida four years Continue Reading
