We're not in Kansas Indiana anymore... Did ya'll know I'm currently in the Republic of Korea right now? Yes, I am. So I thought it was time for a Currently post! There are a few affiliate links in here. View my disclosure policy here. Thinking about: How unreal it is that I'm here. On the other side of the world. In a country where I don't recognize a single letter, let alone word. I just keep wondering when it's going to sink in, when it won't feel so surreal. And then I think about how grateful I am for the opportunity to visit my husband, and how I'm so glad this isn't a Continue Reading

Lots of changes have been happening. So it's time for a Currently post, where I let you know what I'm up to currently! Thinking about: Why in the world did I move to Indiana? I hate winter. I don't like cold or snow, and that's all we've had since I arrived here. Freezing temperatures, snow galore, getting my car stuck several times, having a sore throat, having dry skin -- what did I sign up for? I got spoiled in Georgia, and now I really miss those warm temps and bright sun rays. But in all reality, I am really glad to be close to family again. And the snow is pretty. Sorta. Things have gotten crazy around here so I wanted to let ya'll know what's been going on currently... Thinking about: How I just want to get this move over with, and yet I want every single second with my husband to slow down. Very conflicting feelings going on over here! I'm wanting to cherish and savor every moment with my husband since I know my time with him is short and soon we'll be saying goodbye at the airport. But at the same time, my house looks like it got tossed in a tornado and we're running out of food. I'm just ready to get this show on the road -- for the movers to come so we Continue Reading

This post contains affiliate links. See my full disclosure policy here. I figured it's time for a Currently post since I haven't wrote one in about two months! Here’s what I’m up to currently… Thinking about: How much we have to do, all the things we need to do, what I want to pack up, what I want the Army to pack up, what Travis needs to take to Korea, and what he should take in his suitcase instead of having it shipped. I'm wondering what vaccines I'll need to get to go visit and hoping that the answer is none. I'm thinking about how long the flight to South Korea is. I'm thinking a lot Continue Reading

It's been about a month since I've wrote a Currently post, so I think it's time. Especially since you haven't heard from me in over a week. Remember how I said my husband and I were going "unplugged" and wouldn't be using our phones or internet for a week? Well, that was because we were going on a vacation! We weren't using the internet because we were out in the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship! I'll write a separate post recapping our trip soon! And just so you don't miss it, I have a giveaway coming Friday! So be sure to stop by and enter! (This post includes affiliate links. Continue Reading

Here's what I've been up to currently ... Thinking about: ALLUME. As you are reading this, I'm on my way to a Christian blogger conference called Allume in South Carolina. I am so excited to learn and grow as a blogger, as well as meet other bloggers and make friends. Since I'm writing this a couple days before I leave, I'm thinking about what to bring, what to wear, what to pack, how to get there, where I'll park, who I'll meet, what I'll learn, ... a ton of stuff. There are a few nerves, but for the most part I'm so excited that I get this opportunity and I can't wait to see what God has in Continue Reading

It's time for my Currently series, where I share with you what I’m currently up to. This post is linked up to A Mama Collective where everyone is sharing what they are up to too! Here's what I've been up to currently ... Thinking about: How happy I am my husband is home and how I never want to spend a month apart from him ever again! Reading: I just finished the book "The Scarlet Thread" by Francine Rivers. Since I've read all of Karen Kingsbury's novels, I decided it's time to read all of Francine Rivers' novels. Watching: So You Think You Can Dance. I've watched many seasons Continue Reading

Welcome to my newest series — Currently, where I share with you what I’m currently up to. This post is linked up to A Mama Collective where everyone is sharing what they are up to! Here's what I've been up to currently ... Thinking about: How much I loved my wedding and wish I could do it all over again! Last week I went to my sister-in-law's wedding. I spent a few days helping with decorations -- see what I did to that table there? I also got to go to the rehearsal dinner and helped a lot during the actual wedding. I was so glad I had the opportunity to help out and see them get married. Continue Reading

Welcome to my newest series -- Currently, where I share with you what I'm currently up to. This post is linked up to A Mama Collective where everyone is sharing what they are up to! Here's what I've been up to currently... Thinking about: How glad I am to have my "in-law-family." Travis' family is so much like my own, and I'm so grateful that I am blessed with in-laws that I love and get along with. I've been thinking lately about how easily I could not be close to them just because we don't get to see them much. But instead, I feel like I've been intentional about staying close to them. Currently -- a new post series I'm starting where I share what I'm currently up to. A Mama Collective started this "currently" idea and hosts a link up so everyone can share their currently posts. I found out about it when Bree started sharing what she's currently up to. I loved reading her posts, so I decided I wanted to join in! Here's what I've been up to currently... Thinking about: How incredibly scary that new water slide in Missouri looks. Have you seen this thing? It's higher than the statue of liberty people! And did I mention my husband wants to go on it? What a nut! Reading: I Continue Reading
