We have a new favorite meal! I make a ton of this cajun chicken & veggies because we both love to eat a lot of it, and Travis loves to take it in his lunch the next week. I love how flavorful the dish is. It's a got a small kick to it too, but nothing you can't handle. My favorite part of this meal is how easy it is to make. I don't have to do any planning or a ton of prepping other than chopping a few veggies. It means its easy to make as a last minute meal when I suddenly realize it's suppertime and there's nothing in the crock pot! Try this Cajun Chicken Dish Here's what you'll Continue Reading
Italian Beef
Sometimes I feel like all we eat is chicken around here. Probably because I don't like hamburger, as I've told you before. But I do like beef. Just not in hamburger form. So I started making Italian beef, and it is delicious! It is juicy and flavorful and has a zip to it! Pour the whole jar of pepper rings on top -- peppers and liquid. Mince the garlic and put it inside the crock Continue Reading

I love having snack food around for the holidays because its great to nibble on while playing games with family or (in our case this year) for traveling to see family. To start off this snack series, I'm sharing a recipe for garlic ranch pretzels! These babies Continue Reading
Buttered Italian Shrimp
I tried out this recipe I saw on Pinterest, and wow. It was delicious! I love it! This recipe leaves the shrimp with a melt-in-your-mouth buttery taste. We enjoy these shrimp with pasta salad. But really a lot of sides would go with this recipe. Try it out for yourself. You'll need a butter stick, a lemon, dry Italian mix, and shrimp. Pretty simple, huh? I started by lining a baking sheet with aluminum foil. This made clean-up a breeze! I didn't even need to wash the pan! I just wrapped up the foil and threw it away. Melt a stick of butter on the baking sheet. (You will Continue Reading
