I've been a blogger for ... jeez, how many years now? I think I started my first blog in 2010 and moved to Seeing Sunshine in 2012. So I'm going on six years of blogging. Over that time, I've figured out what helps me with my blog and some things that I would love to have for my blogging "career." Do you have a friend who's a blogger? Or perhaps someone trying to get into the blogging world? This is my list of gift ideas for bloggers. Things to Do in Panama City Beach
Panama City Beach is one of my favorite places to vacation. I just finished my fourth trip there, and I know there are many more trips to come in my future. Travis' parents have been visiting PCB, Florida, for years and years. They couldn't even tell me how many years they've been there. It's become tradition for his family to get together there every year. With their help, I've made this list of things to do in Panama City Beach, as well as a list of great restaurants to try during your visit. Trying new restaurants is one my favorite parts of going on vacation! Things to Do in PCB Go Continue Reading
A Guide to Korean Food
I am a picky eater. I always have been. My go-to dish is chicken strips and french fries. When in doubt, order that. So when I visited South Korea to see my husband who's living there, I was very nervous about the food! In fact, our first time going to a Korean restaurant made me break out in a sweat. I was so nervous that I wouldn't like anything! And not knowing what you're ordering or even eating once it arrives didn't help matters. For those of you who may be feeling panicked at the thought of trying these new foods, I've created this guide to Korean food to help you stay calm in the Continue Reading
My First 5K: Color Run
I did it! I have been working and working to get myself where I could run three miles without stopping ... or dying. I finally ran three miles straight last month. It felt so good to make my goal! But I only had that goal in order to get to my real goal of being able to run a 5K (without any walking). On March 1, Travis and I were in Columbia, South Carolina, to do the Color Run. I really wanted my first 5K to be fun, and the Color Run looked so fun! We woke up really early because I thought we had to be there way earlier than we actually did. Oops! I couldn't sleep the night before anyway Continue Reading
The Ultimate Frugal Christmas Guide: Young Children
Christmas is coming! I'm so excited for it! One (out of like a zillion!) of the things that I like about Christmas is the gift giving. I love picking out presents for people, especially when it's something I know they are really going to like. But there are a few people on my list that I just do not know what to get them. I know what this person likes, but I want them to really be excited and grateful for my gift so it's hard to decide. Do you ever have that problem? Some people are just hard to shop for. That's why I teamed up with a few lovely ladies to create a frugal gift guide for the Continue Reading
