What do we say when someone is grieving? How do we help when a friend is in pain? Are you wondering how to help a grieving friend? This topic has been on my heart lately. I've been told the saying, "God won't give you more than you can handle" during my own times of grief. In fact, it's a saying I believed and said to others. But not anymore. There are a lot of things in this world that God doesn't hand out. I believe most of the time, God is not the one causing our pain. Yes, He allows it, but He doesn't cause it or give it to us like some angry, punishing God. A lot of times the pain in Continue Reading
Waiting for Morning: A Glimpse into my Heart Break
Valentine's Day is on it's way. Love. Love. Love. It's being shoved in our faces from all directions. I have a few posts about love in the works, but my heart is aching a little for those who aren't feeling the love this season. You're doing great." I spot a bunny, and as I near it, I watch as it's white tail Continue Reading
