Working as a Virtual Assistant

Working as a Virtual Assistant

Many people have asked me how I make money on my blog. In all honesty, I don't make a ton of money from my blog ... yet! I have used affiliate links for awhile, but I barely make any money off of them. I only began monetizing my blog seriously in just the past month. I'll be writing a post soon about it. Until then, I want to share how I have been making money. And that's by being a virtual assistant. When people ask me what I do, very few know what a virtual assistant is. Whether you are freelance writing, Continue Reading

When I tell people I'm a freelance writer, usually everyone thinks it's so cool. And that's because it is. I get to work from home, make my own schedule, use my degree, and do the thing I love doing -- write -- all the Continue Reading

God’s Calling For Us

God’s Calling For Us

When I was 15, I went on a mission trip to New Orleans (pre-hurricane) to minister to the people of Louisiana. I had felt God calling me to do something, to go to a mission field and serve Him. I remember telling a boy I had a crush on that I was going on this mission trip. He told me it wasn't a real mission trip unless I was going someplace out of the country. At the time, and even now, I remember thinking how ridiculous that belief was. As I was talking to a friend today, I realized how much it bothers me when people think a mission trip has to be overseas or when they think being a Continue Reading
