I'm teaming up with DaySpring to talk about strengthening marriages. They are offering a giveaway to my readers because they value marriage as much as I do. Be sure to read all the way to the end because we've got a giveaway and a promo code just for you guys! If there's one thing I learned last year while Travis was stationed in Korea it's how important it is to strengthen your marriage in any way you can. Being long distance put an incredible strain on our marriage, and I'm so thankful that God got us through and we survived. Today, Travis and I are celebrating our three-year wedding Continue Reading
Bible Art Journaling with the Beautiful Word Bible
This is a sponsored post; however, all of these opinions are my own. You all have seen the adult coloring books taking the country by storm! Coloring isn't the only thing becoming more popular. Bible art journaling seems to be all the rage with Christians lately. When I first saw it, I thought it was beautiful and immediately wanted a journaling Bible. Now, the creative way to interact with scripture is becoming more and more popular, and there are so many great tools for helping you do your own art journaling. Bride & Groom Gifts (For Each Other)
Recently, it has become popular for the bride and groom to get each other gifts on their wedding day. Some like this idea and others don't bother. Travis and I wanted to get in on this tradition. (Or maybe it was just me! Is it so bad that I love presents?) Gifts from the Bride & Groom to Each Other I have been working on Travis' gift for a long time. For years. Since before I even knew Travis. And it cost me probably $10. Who said a romantic gift has to be expensive? So let me explain. I've been sleeping with a cough drop in my mouth every night to try and soothe my throat enough for me to get some rest. Monday was the worst day of the week for me. I went to work even though I was sick and did as much as I could that day. I went to the doctor only to find I have the same thing I've had three times now in the past few months. Unfortunately, the doctor couldn't tell me what was causing it or what I could do to prevent from getting it Continue Reading

It's a pretty depressing entry about how I have no friends at college. (Thankfully, that changed) From there, I filled those pages with my handwriting -- releasing my emotions into words with ink. I've filled those pages with updates and thoughts and feelings. I've talked about what I did over the weekend to who I want to go on a date with even though they don't know I exist. I've wrote countless prayers in that journal. I've cried Continue Reading
