Even though it has been awhile, I do remember my single days -- trying to find contentment and confidence in myself (something I'm still working on) while I waited for Mr. Right to come along. One of my favorite hobbies is reading. I love laying on my bed listening to the rain pound the windows while I take in the words of some great author. I love laying out by the pool, soaking in the rays and turning the pages of some great book. I love having my toes in the sand, listening to the waves of the ocean while I drift away into some other world. I like reading in bed. I like reading on the couch. New Year Memory Jar
Are you looking for a new tradition to start this year? Last year was our first time trying out this tradition and we plan to do it every year from here on out! Throughout the year, we write down our good memories on a slip of paper. We fold those papers up and put them inside our memory jar. On New Year's Eve (or close to it), we pull out each slip of paper and relive all the good memories.
