Over the past weekend, my mom, sister-in-law, and aunt threw me a baby shower -- a purple and grey, elephant baby shower! They chose this theme because it's what we are using to decorate our daughter's nursery. The great part about having the same theme for the shower and the nursery is we can use some of the same items for decorations! During the shower, we had a craft activity, games, food, and the opening of gifts. We had around 30 guests come to the shower, and I had a fantastic time. Where to Register for Baby
I remember when Travis and I registered for our wedding about four years ago. It was so exciting and so fun. Now, we've finished registering for our new baby. The Day I Stopped Showering
This is a story I wrote a few years ago after this happened to me while showering. I wanted to repost it in case you need a laugh today! It was a normal day. I had decided to sleep in and very much enjoyed the luxury of it. I woke up and read my Bible, journaled, and ate a breakfast of cereal. I did the normal routine — I turned on the exhaust fan in the shower, let my hair down, placed my towels in the right spot and turned on the water. I decided not to listen to music because I had some thinking to do. I undressed Continue Reading
Purple and Grey Bridal Shower Ideas
Like I told you last week, I got to plan and host my first bridal shower a couple weeks ago. It was really fun deciding how I wanted to decorate. Three Fun Bridal Shower Games
I recently hosted a bridal shower for a beautiful woman who I have been friends with since second grade. I'm honored to get to be her matron of honor, and I was really excited to plan her shower. I will be posting about the details of the party in the next couple weeks. For now, though, I wanted to share about the games we played. These were three games that were easy to plan and get materials for. Everyone seemed to really enjoy them, and I love that they were all about the bride and her groom. Game #1 How Well Do You Know the Bride? Each guest received a piece a paper with 10 Continue Reading
