This is my story of healing -- of the miracle God worked in my life. Why We Chose Not to Have Genetic Screening
One of the biggest questions we've gotten at every single doctor's appointment is whether we want to have genetic screening done. I have had to sign several times to confirm my decision. Genetic screening includes several different tests throughout your pregnancy. The first trimester screen is a non-invasive evaluation that includes a blood sample and an ultrasound. The doctors are trying to identify the risk for chromosomal abnormalities such as Down Syndrome and Trisomy-21. Things to Do at Disney World
As an early birthday present, Travis surprised me with a trip to Disney World! We were both so excited to visit the most magical place on earth. We left Thursday night and spent the night in a hotel. Friday was all about Magic Kingdom. Saturday, we spent half the day in Animal Kingdom and the rest of the evening in Magic Kingdom finishing up the things we hadn't got to do the day before. Sunday, we went to Hollywood Studios, and Monday we were at Epcot before heading home. It was a fun-packed four-day weekend that left us exhausted, but so happy.
